The program
Build for your city.
future(faith): Akure is a one-day event for builders across Akure — part of the Build Akure initiative. Akure doesn’t need to wait for solutions to arrive from somewhere else. Some of them are already sitting in the minds of people who live and work here.
Students and graduates. Working engineers and designers. Founders and product people. Thinkers who want to ship. Gospel and skill in the same room. The day is the beginning, not the end: it leads into the future(faith) fellowship, where builders keep going together.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. If you see a problem in Akure and want to build something about it, this room is for you. Apply below with your CV so we can see where you’ve been and what you bring.
Who should apply
Builders who care about Akure.
Engineers
You write code — or want to — and you’d rather solve a real problem than build another demo.
Designers
You shape how things look and work. You care how a product feels to the people who use it.
Product managers
You turn problems into plans. You know what’s worth building and why.
Thinkers
You notice what’s broken, ask sharp questions, and want to turn ideas into things that exist.
Apply
Tell us what you’d build.
Show us how you think and what you want to solve, and attach your CV. We start Saturday, October 17 at 11am at BFA Event Center, beside Oyarugbulem Ultra Modern Market. If you’re accepted, we’ll confirm your spot by email.
